I have a really awful glitch to report. I have found mention of it on other sites, but I was hoping to get some answers here; no one else had any ideas on other sites where I saw this mentioned.

I have completed all prerequisites to entering Waking Dreams to battle Miraak: I obtained the Secret of the Skaal for Hermaeus Mora, and learned the final word of Bind Will. The quest information itself tells me to read the Black Book: Waking Dreams, then battle Miraak and kill him.

When I open the book, I cannot enter it. The book will physically open on the screen and just sit there; there's no little shift in perspective followed by a shift to 3rd person, or anything normal. I have completed four or five other Black Books, but I can't finish the main quest.

I have discovered every location in Solstheim, I've completed most quests. I don't know what else to do, and I don't want to go back and play through however many hours it has taken me to do all of this.

Please, any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if this makes any difference (probably not) but I read the Waking Dreams book and completed it as far as obtaining the Word of Power right after obtaining it in the Temple of Mirak. Unfortunetly, you would have to go back to a previous save game. Maybe somebody else has some other (better) solution.
