This is totally unfair!


So he uses really unfair necromancy techniques and has the nerve to steal my spoils of war.

This happen to anyone else?

Yes, it has happened to me. I know this is supposed to happen every so often prior to completing the main Dragonborn questline, but it doesn't make sense that this is happening after the questline is complete. Also, I've only experienced the soul stealing on Solsteim, not in Skyrim. Does anyone else know if Miraak steals dragon souls when killing a dragon in Skyrim too?

He took one of mine just outside of Windhelm.

is this only happening while you are wearing miraak's robes or no?

It did only happen that once, but I've not killed any dragons since then.

try it once more with his equipment on and again with it off and see I it happens again I it does it's either a serious glitch or miraak has tricked you and herma mora lol

I've never worn the robes so am unsure if that's connected.
However, I have slain 29 dragons since my Solstheim character completed the Dragonborn MQ.
Apart from the occasional Blood Dragon that didn't give up a soul glitch (which has been present since game's release), I've had no odd occurrences.

This Miraak appearance sounds like something the devs should probably clean up.

He did this to me but only prior to killing him. He hasn't appeared since.

console nothing he broke into BGS in the night and messed with the CK and the coding of db he's in the system every body run!!!!!!

of course he is the first dragonborn after all lol

he took three dragons in a row once when i went to three different dragon lairs but this was prior to the last quest in dragonborn. was quite annoying but looking back made me realize how involving he was in the questline compared to all other questlines ive ever done. btw this was in skyrim not solstheim.
