This is a great quest that I started yesterday. You basically fund a excavation project with a partnering dunmer which starts of with a guy named Ralis Sedarys and he asks for 1000 gp to start it off. The miners are hired and you wait a while. During your adventures you get a note. You go check up on the excavations and everything goes bad as draugr are found. So he asks 2k to hire more etc etc. When I came back again draugr found, miners dead and he asks to clear it out and you fund him with 3k which he then hires mercenaries. What i didnt realize is there are more tents and Ralis tent is bigger! its sooo cool this quest. Its like making your very own excavation project. I havent fnished it yet but i though some would like to know.

ALSO If you have done this, dont spoil it for me.

Whenever these quests speak of great finds, usually the payoff is very dangerous for my health.

People were hoping for a money sink. I expected this quest to cost tens of thousands of septims. I hate it when my character is forced to act like 1000 septims is a lot of money. It's not.

There haven't been any spoilers stated yet. Basically, you invest to buy miners and eventually guards. Every time you return, a new portion is unlocked and a new magical object is available to find. Once you invest 5000 gold, the final portion of the quest begins. Which I won't spoil.
