Sometimes stuff comes together pretty well in Skyrim

So, while I'm in Solstheim I met up with the friendly werewolves at Frostcrag. Nice folks. My character is a werewolf too. Well, I go back to Skyrim and I run a quest for the Dawnguard. The Dawnguard tell me that a friend of mine has been kidnapped and I need to go save them. Where did I have to rescue them from? Gallows Rock, home of those dirty stinking werewolf hunters The Silver Hand. Who did they kidnap? One of the werewolves from Solstheim.

I know it's probably just dumb luck, but I love the idea of the Silver Hand teaming up with a Vampire to kidnap a werewolf ally of mine. I get the idea that I've massacred the Silver Hand so badly over my time in Skyrim that they've gotten desperate and are teaming up with monsters like the vampires to try and desperately lash out at me.

Like Kodlak warned me in my early adventuring days "The cycle of revenge will continue for some time."

It's the little things like this that make it such a fun game for me. The DLC's all work together so well. I like that there's not this huge divide between NPC's in one piece of DLC and the other. I like that the Silver Hand can bomb their way up to the island and kidnap folks from up there in this story. I dunno...it impresses me. I wasn't fighting Aurorans in Split, is what I'm saying you know?
