"Within the horde of warriors and mages of the Covenant Army lies one of the more superior fighting forces of its time: the Thornwatch.

A group of fierce men and women in the service of High Rock, Hammerfell and Orsinium. Though originally beginning as a band of massacring pirates with a love of larceny, when the island of Thorn became their home, the Thornwatch became the protecters who also squeezed the locals for every coin. However, I managed to take control of the guild, made it legitimate and assimilated with the Covenant forces.

We wear black cloaks, so none can forget who we truly are. We are the crucible. While kings may rise and fall, and the smallfolk lie abed hoping the enemy horde does not swallow them whole, the Thornwatch stand in the cold. Our duty now lies in all of Tamriel.

Our lives are not driven by a lust for acceptance, or gold. We accept our duty. By our strength Tamriel is stayed from the precipice of chaos.

Be you warrior, mage or rogue, the Thornwatch will always have a place for YOU!"

Still though DC guilds are in pretty short supply (I wonder why ) so I'll check things out tomorrow when I'm actually awake, I'll need a good DC guild for when I role my Breton.
