I have a misc quest that tells me to "Visit the hunters at Frostmoon Crag" and when I go there, they just tell me I'm not welcome and to move on. If I stay too long they unseath their weapons and basically threaten to kill me. I can't seem to progress this quest any further, am I missing something?

You need to be a werewolf to be able to talk to them.

Edit: They sell some special rings which boosts your werewolf form.

I got the same. I think it's something to do with killing (Werebears?) before talking to them. I have it stuck in my misc objectives now and can't do a damn thing about it.

Yes, the hunters at Frostmoon Crag are werewolves and will only acknowledge other werewolves. The only purpose they serve it seems, is to sell werewolf players rings that strengthen their beast form. Other than that, there aren't a whole lot reasons to talk to them.

Are they any good? The rings I mean?

One allows you to heal while in Beast form. One allows you to do 50% more damage, but you also take 50% more damage. One allows the effects of your howls to last 25% longer. The final one slows time for 20 seconds after you shift into beast form. Personally, I think the one that allows you to heal is pretty good.
