why did you post that article here? Wouldn't the general Skyrim forum be more appropriate?

I'm kinda suspicious about the part on spears. I doubt they would make an entire new skill tree for spears, I'm thinking they would be fitted into existing skill trees but maybe with new perks within those skill trees, like those sword/axe/mace perks.

I at least hope there is two more DLCs for Skyrim. The things said in that article do sound interesting.

This is pretty exciting. I'm gonna lean towards truth. I like my instincts with these things; I leaned towards truth with the leaked info on Dragonborn and was satisfyingly correct in doing so.

An actual developer showed up and said it wasn't.. or at least it was full of "half-truths".

The first DLC sounds really lame. The second sounds awesome. But I don't consider them very true.

We need a Thalmor DLC, preferably where we can kick their pasty yellow asses. I'm an Imperial, Empire-supporting guy, yet I hate the Thalmor more than anything. Well, the Dark Brotherhood may be worse.

But from an objective story perspective, it would be a great idea. Considering their large influence, it'd be a genius idea to expand upon it. Maybe have something along the lines of Dawnguard: join them or fight them, but only after the Civil War questline has been completed.

Who debunked it?

The developer said "half truths", kind of sounds like him confirming it as well as debunking it. Goes either way.

and outright falsehoods. Half-truths were probably "they added ____ for modding". Yes, modding was one reason but not the whole reason.

I believe there will be more DLC.. but we should still take this with a grain of salt. The first DLC especially he mentions.. I don't know..

I just find the "they added ____ for modding" a hilarious notion. As in, that's like selling me part of a car and then telling me to make the rest. As in, giving us werebears and then leaving it up to modders to actually allow you to become one. And even then, only PC players will be able to access such things, leaving Xbox players in the dust. I actually have both Xbox and PC versions, but my PC doesn't run it very well. Still some occasional lag even on the lowest graphics settings. But Xbox has the deal with Bethesda to get the DLC early, so it's a joke.

I don't even want to be a werebear, Or a werewolf. Or a vampire. I just want to be a regular Imperial. But I still find the idea that developers would deliberately leave unfinished work in a game for modders to finish a funny, yet stupid prospect.

"Bethesda dev here. This is a mixture of half-truths gleaned from interviews and outright falsehoods. Best to just move on.

We're all excited for more news out of Skyrim, but lets not take advantage of the communities fervour to peddle silliness. Thanks, and have a good day"

I think it's bloody obvious that there will be at least will be more new DLC.. so that's enough for me. I think the dude admitted to be a troll too though.

Yep. It would be best to disregard everything until/unless there is an official announcement. People reading into things got a lot of upset, annoyed, and aggravated players who didn't find what they expected.

This can close now.
