Unfortunately, no.

It probably wouldn't matter either way, you would haft to sacrifice a enchantment like spell cost, fort magicika, magicika regen. What this would do is kill things faster which really does not matter since there is not a trinity WoW system in Skyrim, it's a ADD enchantment.

I'd happily sacrifice a few other enchantments to augment damage like the masks can do. I think magic is underpowered at high levels compared to decently smithed weapons.

I agree. The only offset now is the ability to make spells cost nothing to cast, but I would rather have much more powerful spells that cost magicka as it would make things more interesting and wouldn't require spamming spells so many times to kill something.

I agree, also. Verena needs to raise her destruction skill and was in a Riekling village using Thunderbolt and she had to hit one 3 times with that spell to kill it. Verena is level 71 so you would think that a powerful spell like that would do a whole lot more damage. Thank the Divines for Conjuration!

If it takes 3 thunderbolts to kill a Riekling then i fail to see why destruction would be as underpowered as most of the forums dwellers claim. It takes 4 swings of my legendary deadric sword to bring a Riekling down (Level 98 in one-handed, all damage increasing perks, and the sword has the damage value 82).

Rieklings arent one hit one kill weaklings even if they look like it.

Yes i could take him down quicker with power attacks and yes my attacks can be executed more swiftly then your magic (since magic has a "charge" time), but on the other hand magic has range.

Not realy, unless your using aloot of smithing enchanting gear or exploits 82 is a common number for a legendary daedric sword. (Its one handed offcourse, and do note that swords do less damage then a axe or a mace).

The base damage for a daedric sword is 14 ya know.
