I just recovered Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana, but the gate has shut behind me. I can't find the way out of the room. Am I missing something obvious?

Sounds like a bug. Didn't happen to me.

I've noticed gates closing by themselves that shouldn't since the last patch came out. When I left the Mzark Lift the other day the gate closed behind me for some reason.

I was afraid of that. Looks like I'll have to fight all those draugr again. Not a terrible disaster, but I was hoping to avoid it.

EDIT: ohhh, [censored] that svcks you probably need to reload previous save O.o

If you have Telekinesis you can retrieve the ring without opening the gate.
