Haknir Death-Brand Build

I want to make a character for his armor and weapons. Part of me wanted to not use the weapon and make two chaos damage swords, but then I decided to just go all out.

So, Im wondering about a build for this. I don't want to be too high a level, so the enchantments on the swords don't get useless. So how high a level do you guys think is safe to go so the enchantments on the weapon still matter? On Normal? On Master? Both please so I know my choices.

Im not going to do enchanting on this character because its not worth the perks to just enhance a ring and necklace. So, with the 25% higher smithing enchantments, how high would I need to get my smithing? At least 80 for ebony to temper it higher right? Is it still effected by ebony smithing? I dont think Id need to go higher than 80...because it gives a plus 100 when wearing it...so itll probably hit cap at 80?

One handed and light armor is a must. So, for funssies. What else would a Haknir pirate build have? Speech for mechantile?

Lastly, I'm thinking of Nord or Redguard. Nord because Haknir was, but redguard cause my oblivion redguard was an ex-pirate. But, that more personally taste and thinkingo utload on my part.

If you are talking about the Deathbrand twin swords, the quest itself is level locked at level 36, so you would have to at least be that high in your levels to get the swords.

The swords can be improved with ebony, so whatever level ebony is would be fine.

If Haknir was a nord, and you want to rp around him, then go for the nord, using 1-handed, light armor, smithing, some archery, a few points in speech, and maybe a few in block. If you going to use both swords, then take the dual wield. If you plan on enchanting or alchemy, take them instead of speech. Otherwise, do whatever makes your character work for you and what you want.
