Ride dragons from Dawnguard?

Post » Sun Feb 03, 2013 11:37 pm

Hey, this isn't a thread about complaining about dragon riding (for a change).
I was wondering if anyone has seen if it's possible to tame and ride the two unique revered dragons towards the end of the Dawnguard main quest? Their names are Volsaarum and Naaslaarum.
I thought it would be cool to tame one and fight the other in that battle, but I haven't even started Dawnguard on the character I finished Dragonborn with.
If anyone has tamed one of the twins, my question is; does he still dive under the ice?
Thanks in advance.

The two in the massive ice field area? If they are like the rest of Skyrim's Main Quest's named dragons, then no, Bend Will will have no effect on them.

Bend will works on Odhaviing tho, why wouldn't it work on two dragons who's only purpose is for you to kill them the moment they appear?
