In Memorium, Belifakathoooookawa

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:44 pm

Serana and I decided to head over to Solstheim right after leaving the Soul Cairn to see about bolstering our war party with one of our new found tribe-kin. Bref, as we called him, was a stout little warrior and an ever cheerful companion. Bref accompnanied Serana and I through Ancestor Glade, Darkfall Passage, and Forgotten Vale, battling Gargoyles, Vampires, Falmer, Chaurus and Dragons along the way. In the end, though, Bref's enthusiasm got the better of him. While making our way through the Glacial Crevice I crept up to one of the ledges to recon the area below us. Poor Bref came running from behind and slipped on the ice and fell 5 stories to the bottom. I could see him grasp for the edge as if in slow motion, but then he was gone. But it was not the fall that killed him, though surely it must have weakened him terribly, for in his last second I could hear him bravely battling a Falmer below me. That Falmer has since been incinerated. But poor Bref lies at the bottom of a Glacial Cliff, his body to be forever preserved by the ice as a memorial to his bravery and tenacity.

RIP, Bref.

No, dogs don't. They just stand in the way and attract enough attention to wake every Draugr in the tomb.

Makes you wonder if there's something out there that views our relationship with the Daedra in a similar light, huh?
