So I decided that Sergius Turrianus (Winterhold Enchanting Trainer) is a rude and useless bugger and should make himself useful by selling stuff.

I followed all the instructions for making him into a vendor:

- Made a chest for him
- Made a service faction for him (and added him to it with rank 0) - ServicesWinterholdSergius (Sergius Services)
- Added him to the JobMerchantFaction with rank 0.

However, in-game he does not offer vendor dialog. I PRID'ed him and checked if he is in Merchant Faction and in the "Sergius Services" faction. Both queries returned 0 - he is not in either faction!

After I added him to both factions via console, sure enough he began buying and selling (he got a "What do you have for sale?" dialog option).

I tried killing/resurrecting him or waiting for 48 hours, but that didn't add him to the vendor factions "naturally". Is there a way to do this without resorting to console?
