When Alduin arrived back in Tamriel... (spoilers)

Post » Tue Feb 05, 2013 7:07 am

How come when he reappeared at the Throat of the World (Which was where he was when he was banished), Parthy the dragon didn't stop him? Or at the very least mention that he tried to stop him? Did Alduin appear when parthy was having a nap?

And, does anybody know where the spoiler tag is?

Why tag when there is a whole forum section dedicated to talking about spoilers?

ha I had a lengthy debate about this awhile ago in my poll about Paarthurnax paying for past crimes...he didn't attempt to stop or delay his big bro nor did he warn the greybeards about Als return

My guess was Parth was doing his thing, and then suddenly there's an Alduin. Now...Thing is, up till this point, he's been alone, hiding his existance to all but the Greybeards.

Attacking Alduin, in a manner that would have carried away from the mountain, would have exposed Parths existance, something that he's been avoiding, living a life of a pacifist.

Luckily, suddenly the Dragonborn appears! Excellent! The prophecy is on!
"Yo Dovahkin! Get up here!"
Yes I am of the opinion that was Parth calling to us. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Lets not forget Angeirs original stance on the end of the world.

ha more like a "pussifist" :P

he says his whole reason for remaining atop the throat of the world is to await Alduins return and practice the Way of the voice in the meantime. If he was too afraid to challenge Al then the least he could've done was warn the greybeards so they can warn the world
