Getting back into skyrim

I'm wondering if you have any tips on getting back into skyrim. I'm on Xbox and have all DLC's (sorry to rub it in for u ps3 users) and I'm thinking whether to start a new character or just a fun way to carry on my current one. So if you know a fun new build feel free to post and maybe ill give it a go!

Starting over really does feel refreshing, doesn't it? Perhaps you could do what I do when I start fresh; always travel super-light. Weapon, Armor, town clothes, and maybe a few potions. Save only unique or sentimental items in your home.

Never fast travel with the exception of the carriages at the city, never use the wait function just sleep in beds, don't try to make an ace of all trades character(Keep them specialized), and use the armor you want to were and not the best available. You will appreciate the game much much more this way; or at least I did.

The Dragonborn DLC got me back into Skyrim, I'm hitting 100 hours just in Solstheim. But I learned that not abusing the fast travel feature will really make you appreciate the world and also allow you to see more special encounters.
