Pardon me if this has been covered.


What do people think of being able to play a monster to populate the pvp area only.

Was thinking :

a) the monster would be a random one
b )the player would have to start a low level monster and level it unlocking other monster types


Would add some more interesting factors to the challenege I would think.

I don't like it.

Couldn't start as a low level monster because all players are leveled up when they go into Cyrodiil, and your L1 monster would be one hit.

That was done in LOTRO, right? Was it a success there? I played a little LOTRO but never tried the monster play.

They had monster play in Lord of the Rings Online, though when you went into Monster Play I think it auto leveled you to level cap or maybe it was just level 50, and not sure if they increased that when the level cap went up with expansions. I think your job as a monster was to kill players, not sure though cause I never tried it...

Its interesting, but i dont know if it would work, i would prefer being able to tame a low level monster and level it up.
