I've recently purchased a powerhouse gaming PC and am migrating from the consoles. While Skyrim downloads to my PC I'd like some insight on any mods that are necessary. My friend recommends "Immersive Weapons and Armor" as well as "Midas Magic". I have some real life friends who are experienced with mods on Skyrim but the only mod I know for sure they used was the mod that gives alternate story starters as well as a mod that changes necromancer armor to something that makes sense. I know I want the one that reskins the necromancers. I've also heard SkyUI recommended to others.


Also, I think there needs to be a pinned FAQ thread here so that PC version noobs can know where to look. >.>

Most of it still applies. Though, you need to replace to OBMM with NMM in there and add in the Steam Workshop.

I keep meaning to rewrite it for Skyrim but haven't gotten around to it...

Personally, I recommend you go with Bash for installation. You'll need BOSS to manage load order if you plan to use a fair number of mods.
