So last night I entered Whiterun, nothing out of the ordinary. Then I proceeded to my Breezehome to unload some weight. Upon entering my home, I hear "Yes?" in a random male voice but there were no NPCs around to be seen. I figured one of the wandering civilians/vendors somehow stumbled into my house and then was leaving just as I was entering. No big deal. So then as I'm leaving Breezehome and entering Whiterun, I again hear the same voice. "How can I help you?" but no NPCs within the vicinity. Mmmmkay. To the point - Now every time I enter/leave a building/zone anywhere in Skyrim, I hear this annoying random male voice - and it is without a doubt the most irritating thing in the world.

So I tried reloading an earlier save just prior to this bug occurring - everything is working fine. I enter Whiterun, avoid Breezehome and go straight for the inn because I am a vampire and needed quick shelter from the sun. Same problem all of a sudden. It seems any building in Whiterun I enter all of a sudden bugs and I suddenly get stuck with this perpetual annoyance.

I have tried searching the internet for this problem to no avail. Anyone have any experience with this bug? Or have any ideas on how to resolve it?

are u playing with mods ?? Wet & Cold in particular ?
