After taking a break from the game...

I am back again.

Due to one thing and another I have not played Skyrim for a while.

However recently I managed to find a couple of usb extension cables that my partner had told me about and after buying a cable to link my computer to the TV (and much faffing about getting it to work) I can now play my game through my tv like a console :D (but with better graphics and mods)

It is great. Hehe I can see myself spending lots of time on it again.

Does anyone else play their PC version through the TV?

And have my roommates complain about the cords strung across the living room? No thanks. Not to mention my computer settup faces away from the television in the living room.

My gaming experience is completely free of not having to move furniture.

I get more immersion from a game being up close to a Desktop PC monitor than looking at a TV across the room. So, RPGs and Shooter games are better for me that way.

Some games would be better on the TV, but I get those on the consoles. So, action, driving and puzzle games are better on the consoles.

The PC in my living room is connected to a 32" flat screen. I have another one in there for TV watching and my x-box......which is what I play Skyrim on. In fact, other than a laptop, I don't own a monitor specificially for a computer.

I also recently returned after taking a break from the game. I'm having a fantastic time rediscovering Skyrim. It's amazing how much I've forgotten in just a couple of months.

Jealousy! I've still got a big ol' box of a TV. I'd like to get a large HD flatscreen, but nobody delivers to the Evergloam.
