- are we mostly TES players who did some mmorpg's?
- are we mmorpg players that are just looking for a game to play?

I never played one of the TES games, i liked other RPG much more, like Gothic and Risen.
I think, i will give Skyrim a try to grasp the gameplay.

Played all the TES games from Morrowind onwards (Might have played the others in my youth, but too far back to remember) and I have also played a lot of MMO's. I tend to go to the TES games when I am burnt out on MMO's, then after a while I go back to MMO's.

I predict this poll will mostly be TES veterans, as the MMO crowd has yet to decent due to lack of information as yet (Not a bad thing by any means).

I wouldn't play Skyrim for the gameplay - the gameplay of the series has varied quite a lot and TESO will certainly not be an exception.

I voted mainly TES (Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim) with some MMO. I played SWTOR (and hated it- can't stand 123456789 button layouts - though I hear it didn't hit well with MMO fans either - granted story was great.) and I used to play RuneScape as a child. I've fond memories of playing that game with friends. My hope for TESO is a marriage of that feeling with the awesome setting of Tamriel.

Morrowind...but I play other games.

I don't know if maybe this thread was moved from a different forum, but a lot of people in the Community Discussion section are here because of Fallout and have never played any TES games. Likewise, others are here because of another Bethesda title, so this poll might not be a good representation of the community.

I'd say my experience on TES and MMORPGs favors TES more. I've played every TES game (and have spent 1000+ hours on Oblivion and Morrowind, 600 on Skyrim.) I have, however, played quite a few MMOs and spent a lot of time with RuneScape and World of Warcraft. I also played a fair amount of Guild Wars and TERA Online.

I don't play MMOs or TES that much, but I prefer TES. I probably wouldn't play TESO, because MMOs end up being a waste of time.

Why was it moved?

I thought a poll in the TESO forum would be very appropriate as it's a mix between mmorpg and TES.

Why are they here for Fallout? There's no association there - ZOS not BGS are making TESO and the Elder Scrolls and Fallout are two ends of the same stick.

Played all TES games but also played MMO's for 13-14 years non stop. I've played nearly if not all single player RPG's worth playing over the last 15 years.

The best being Gothic series and TES with NWN thrown in.

It is appropriate for the TESO forum and not the Community DIscussion forum, but you'll find that that doesn't really matter and it depends more on if someone reports a thread. Some mods don't pay much attention and just move things on request.

Huh? This should have stayed in TESO, the poll doesn't make much sense in CD.

Anyway, I don't play MMOs. I tried WoW once (who hasn't?), but I didn't stay long. LotRO was fun, I still come back to it every once in a while, but again, it's nothing serious. I prefer single player games.

Mostly MMORPGs like Everquest Online Adventures Starwars Galaxies, and Everquest II. Only TES game I really played was Skyrim and became bored with it after a while. It really started out fun, and had a blast with it. Something just "clicked" inside of me as that sense of entertainment deminished.
