I've read that there can be a bug in the "Purity" quest of the companions questline, but I'm having problems well before that. I've only finished the part where I clear out Dustman's Cairn with Varkas. Now, I need to go and do a bunch of quests before I get to the next stage of the questline, and at least one from each of the Companion leaders. This is due to a mod I have installed that improves the Companions guild.

However, I cannot get any quests from Vilkas at all. The option "I'm looking for work." never appears. I've gotten past this point before with no troubles with the mod installed, so I don't know if that's the issue, and I wanted to try all other options before I attempted to remove the mod and reinstall it.

Does anyone know of a workaround to get VIlkas to give me quests again? I've tried completing some other misc. quests to see if there were any conflicts, but I can't think of any that I have open that would do so. All the other Companions give me jobs to do. I'd prefer to do some of Vilkas' jobs, too, since they are the rescue mission variety and that suits my paladin/knight character pretty well.

Do you have Dragonborn downloaded? Might be a potential conflict there.
