World PVP zone limitations

So does the fact that there is a pvp zone imply that other zones will not have any pvp?

Yup. PvP is in all of Cyrodiil. One huge province filled with it. And dungeons, towns, forts, quests etcetera.

Welcome to the forums!

I think this might be the most straightforward question and answer I have seen.............

You make it sound bad. But what JD said, it is all of Cyrodiil and that is a very big province. It comes replete with all the PvP objectives, scenarios, and even PvE content that your heart could wish for.

If you played TES: Oblivion - Cyrodil will be roughly the same size, even with 2000 people on map running into someone out in the wilderness will still take a while.

Good point, guess I'll just have to pack my bags and move my permanent mailing address to Cyrodil lol

Open world PvP in particular would not even exsist. So it seems as though the carebear trend with PvP continues.Regardless of the size of Cryodiil it's not the same as being able to freely roam the world looking for a fight and/or just exploreing.
As far as I am concerned, playing an Orc, not being about to visit Morrowwind or Blackmarsh is a HUGE disappointment. Not to mention the new areas of Valenwood and Elswyr being unreachable by my Main character.
I've heard Devs speak on how much they want the player to explore their world and involve themselve in the world... but only in 33.33% of the world

I think it's great that Cyrodiil is the only PVP area and it's already one of those threads.

We've only seen 11.11% of the world in SP titles. That sure kept people busy.

Hmmm, well you can explore Cyrodiil as well as your 33.33% of the world. You get 4 provinces to explore, might wanna do your math, eh?

Anyway, there are multiple other faction-lock threads that you can talk in, but this thread is just about Cyrodiil, so let's try not to derail it. I don't see how Cyrodiil is care-bear. Many people don't want to get ganked when they're level 10 in their PvE questing area, so the devs made a very good choice. They put all the PvP in one HUGE, optional area. You could potentially spend all of your game time there (after level 10, of course).

We don't need nor want your snarky attitude against those who wish for more PVP enabled zones. You guys got what you want, so step off eh?

No thank you to open PvP in the starting areas and leveling areas for the races.

Yes to a potentially all open PvP server if the PvP rabid want one.

Woah, now I didn't realize I'd be restricted from the other two faction's territories. This is lame indeed. They have phasing technology, can't they simply have a lvl 50 pvp phase for these zones to separate people like myself from levelers?

This would be an awesome idea that would be widely accepted by the PVP community that would not encroach on the PVE only minded folks. Here's hoping they release adventure zones that are PVP enabled beside the PVE only ones.

Failure to do so really cuts out a lot of RP potential.
