So I've been reading about the SteamBox, for those who don't know it's basically a gaming pc and console in one, runs steam, and has the big 3 scared. I'm super excited at the idea of this, mainly for skyrim. I'm a console gamer, always have been, apart from playing medieval total war on my old dell laptop. I've always wanted to get into pc gaming, as it has a lot of benefits, but the main one for me is mods. But never thought the mods were worth buying a pc as I can't really afford it. Anyway, what the SteamBox needs is developers because it's going to use Linux instead of windows, which apparently most games are developed for. I don't know the ins and outs, as I said I'm a console gamer, but the way I see it is it can only be a good thing for Bethesda. If I had a SteamBox, I'd buy skyrim again from steam purely for the freedom of mods, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other console gamers would do the same, so more sales, more money, more games. Everyone's a winner.
