Skyrim Nightblade Mix (Trendkillv01's Strategy)

Post » Thu Feb 07, 2013 10:23 am

Hello all, today I am making a strategy guide and class build for Trendkillv01's Nightblade mix!

First of all, here are the skills you need to level in:

- Archery
- Conjuration
- Sneak

The race you should have is a Breton. This is because of there bonus in conjuration, so you can have Oblivion Binding right off the back. Your going to want to use a value ratio of 1W = 10G. This way you won't have to drop things of low value that are heavy all of the time.

First thing you need to do after you get to the underground part of Helgen is level up archery as fast as possible! I would recommend going with the Stormcloaks, because they start out with great armor. In the cave room with the imperials, kill the first guy, take his bow, and start sniping. This way you can start leveling up ASAP. Go through the rest of the level. Choose the warrior stone to level up archery faster. Once you make it to Riverwood get Faendal as your follower. Power train untill you run out of money, and take it back from him. This way you can level up really fast. Get the supplies from Gurdur. Then you need to do BFB (Bleak Falls Barrow) and go through the rest of the first part of the storyline.

Next you need to start the Dark Brotherhood. Get to the point of when you get the armor, now you have a choice to finish the storyline, or start the Thieves Guild storyline. Before you go to riften, get the Conjure Bow spell from the tower South of Windhelm. It's hidden in the bucket in the tower. Then do the TG storyline. The Nightingale is the best armor for a conjuring, because of all of the bonuses. Finish the DB so you can get Shadowmere, then you are basically done!

I hope this helps you out, the class setup is throughout his series, which you can find here:

I wish you the best luck,

You might want to spoiler tag the part about the bound bow spell tome... Or ask this to be moved to Cheats, Hints and Spoilers.

Overall though, sound advice if your only goal is to level up as fast as possible. I also prefer Nightblades to use daggers in preference to bows (I tend to only use them for applying poison at range, if at all).

I understand about the daggers, but that is why this is a mix. If you watch his videos he says that the original Nightblade uses daggers, but he wanted to mix it. The only reason I said to level up fast if because he said it, I am basically recreating his class. I personally would want to even out my skills

Oh, I see. Well then I'll shut up :P

I don't see the appeal of levelling a Nightblade so fast though, they become demigods late game. Personally, I find the lower levels where there is a very real chance of your plans backfiring, or a rapid death if you mess up one aspect, to be the most fun.

But as you say, it's a recreation of this guys class, so my points are moot.

I have to say one final thing, however. Where is the Illusion part of this build? Without it, this is merely an assassin who uses bound weapons. At least to me.
