Will you be a crafter?

Well, I'm excited about playing this game as are we all, I'm sure. I've thought a lot about what I'll do in this game, and while I never cared much for alchemy or cooking much in Elder Scrolls games, I -do- think I'd love to be a blacksmith in The Elder Scrolls Online.

I'd cherish all the armors and weapons I could make, working my way up to better and better equipment.

What would you do and are you all excited about crafting too?

I loved making Dragonbone armor, and I'm kind of sad that I most likely won't be doing that in this game, unless they happen to add dragon skeletons to places in the lands.

Just like in WoW I think i will get around to every profession at some point with my alts. If there are any minor ones such as WoWs cooking/fishing/first aide/archeology I'll most likely only do those on my main. Unless of course they have great benefits for the crafter only. I generally like to RP it a little. Im not much of a RPer, but doing a mining/smithing warrior is not only beneficial, but makes sense RP wise. Enchanting is always real fun and so cool to use. And who doesn't want alchemy with their rogue? Haha.

In SWG I had every dedicated crafting prof so I would imagine it'll end up that way again.

Absolutely! I love the story line of the games but crafting is right up there. I have no hesitation spending lots of time on crafting. I really hope that it is well thoughtout and engaging and not just clicking. Experimentation would be great as well and I would love it if you only had a recipde list of things you have discovered and made a few standard component recipes.. One way to do recipes would be to build them into lore books. Also there is so much potential for racial armors and weapons it is great!

Excited about crafting definitely!

If crafting is interesting and not as much as a grind as other games to get materials, I definitely will craft!

All depends on the crafting system, of course. But... eh, why pretend... yes ;) I love picking flowers and making potions, and even if the crafting system is a total waste of time I won't be able to walk by a patch of mushrooms without digging em up :(

Don't suppose anybody remembers my Morrowind alchemy mod :)
