I stopped playing skyrim last march because of the bug stopping me becoming thane if riften but started playing again last night and tried the quest again and to my joy it actually worked! So I returned to the jarl completed the quest bought the house decorated it spoke to the jarl again and became thane of riften yay!!!!! So of I popped to my main house in solitude to place my new blade of riften with the rest of my thane weapon gifts only to discover it was missing!!!!! The only weapon I had other than my main was a crappy enchanted war hammer instead lol does anyone know why? Is this another bug or have I missed something?
