One of the main reasons why Skyrim is so great..

Exploring! I've had this game since December 2011 and I'm still discovering new places.

As I was on my way to Falkreath, I stopped by the bandit camp near The Guardian Stones to pick up the first treasure map. I then carried on with my journey and happened to come by a short path which led to a Shrine of Talos. Now this is the first time I've ever seen this particular Shrine of Talos in all of my playthroughs. Curious, I followed the path to the Shrine and found 4 or 5 bodies laying on the floor. One of them was a Thalmor Soldier, who was carrying an interesting letter which was written to him by none other than Elenwen, the chick from the Thalmor Embassy. Anyway that's all I'm going to say, for those like me who haven't seen this place before, you definitely should. It's awesome.

Man, that's what I love about Skyrim, so much attention to detail. I love it! :D

My favorite thing like that was when I was in an old tomb that was taken over by vampires. I saw a little alcove in the wall and my metagamer habits kicked in (Something's probably hidden there!) so I checked it out...

...Shoes. Nothing but shoes. Lots and lots of shoes and boots, neatly laid out on the floor, not hidden in a chest or wardrobe, of all different types. It was a closet.

Of course a vampire would be fashion-conscious.

Which tomb was that? Can you remember? I think I've seen it too
