Conditions - Play with no music, no HUD, and Expert or above.

To live in any camp/free shack of my choosing (No homes)

To avoid any and all interaction with the civilised world. (no entering any town/settlement)

To procure all my daily needs through hunting or crafting. Everything I own I will have made/crafted/concocted with my own two hands. No using any traders, stores or travelling merchants.

To eat every day, either through hunting, foraging or fishing.

1 session 1 save. (less extreme form of dead is dead)

To live day by day observing weather conditions, any injuries taken, whether I have eaten/drank enough, and what my most immediate survival goals are. (Food, water, shelter, heat)

My goal is to craft a character completely at odds with the world saving, dragon fighting, quest taking traditional hero type character. I want to find enjoment in the simple things, to be at one with nature, and to be happy as long as I have a roof over my head and some food for the morrow.

I used to do this build in Morrowind, I would throw any money I got in a river or lake and only used found items. I never loaded up the Necessities or crafting mods in Morrowind for this build, the game was complex enough for this type of play through. However, if I had, it would have been a bit easier than relying on only found loot....

It was a fun challenge in that game.

I'm also a fan that sort of survival gameplay. After trying New Vegas hardcoe mode, I had to go back and install some survival mods for Oblivion that added hunger, thirst, sleep, needs etc. I've become accustomed to it so that now I don't think I could go back to playing Skyrim without Frostfall and Imp's More Complex Needs.

It really helps to give food and drink items some importance in the game when you suffer penalties for not eating and drinking properly, or you need to gather enough wood to build a fire to warm up so you don't die of hypothermia, gather pelts and clean them in order to craft a tent, etc.
