Pardon me, I've had several "beverages" at this point and am heavily impaired... But I'm gathering that you've taken the full v1.93 of the Texture Pack Combiner package and then "optomized" it? through some sort of tool?

If that's the case, you're basically hosting about 50 different people's work without there permission. The TPC is a bat file, and therefore does not require author permission for a mod to be used. Hosting those files in one package is another matter.

Last I checked, it is not "fine" to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright_infringement.

Yeah no, you've taken the end-result of the latest version of TPC, and uploaded it. As previously stated, TPC itself doesn't package and distribute other creator's works, it's merely a tool that allows you to combine said works.

You're distributing other creator's works.

Unless you can come up with a list of each mod author's permission, (including TPC I believe), you're so far in the wrong it's not even funny.

And why did you upload to some random host and provide torrents? Why not just use the Nexus, DC, TESA, MODDB or at least SOME kind of reputable site that doesn't suggest that this is a shifty piratey mod? :/

Because this is a shifty piratey mod that doesn't have permission from the original authors?

Well, I've alerted the Mods so everyone just move along. We'll let them come in and make a decision on how to handle this.

Indeed. Don't do it.
