Quests with options

Hi,

I would like to know, would you like to have quests with choices? A true RPG where each decision give us a different quest-end?

Let's say, we could have a choice to help a girl from kidnappers and escort her to home or to help kidnappers escort her to nearest post. Each decision would give us a different reward and maybe there could be implemented a "reputation system".

While having high reputation give us some benefit, low reputation would give us an access to "dark business" and also, after some time being "neutral" would also grant us something.

IMO, this could be really cool :)

Comment!

Yes I like this type of quest in RPG gameplay, and it is without a doubt going to be part of ESO.

If we look back to the hands on the players in that were tasked with saving a town. You could make the choice to help save everyone in the town, just some of the people, or just skip it altogether and the ending reflected that as in if you saved the town the people (NPC's) in it would be there cheering you every time you returned and the number of people would change if you only saved some of them. If you skipped the whole thing the town would be a smoking ruin to you if you returned at a later date.

In the initial GameInformer interviews in May '12 iirc they did say there will be choices on how to complete quest steps and it having effects on the story line as you go making different choices. Can find the interviews in the sticky video thread, not sure which one it is though.
