Do you think the blades would rather serve Miraak then the the player? They are supposed to side with a dragonborn correct? Also you know the whole parthanaax dilemma. I honestly think that there is a good chance if given the opportunity that they would indeed side with Miraak. So tell me what you think and your reasons why they would or would not side with miraak.

The problem is the Blades you have now don't want to serve anyone, Dragonborn or not. They want to be served by the Dragonborn, and I doubt Miraak would be willing to accommodate them.

The blades want to EXTERMINATE dragons to protect humanity.
Miraak, self absorbed wonkety wonk that he is, wants to enslave all of Tamriel, including dragons, who he wants as his own personal airline.

Also, I'd say it's highly likely that while Miraak was serving as a dragon priest, he did all sorts of vile things that would have earned him emnity from the blades, similar to Paarthunaax.

Pretty much age the posts above mine, I've pretty much washed my hands of the blades... I didn't see a dilemma with Paarthurnax, he isn't a threat to Tamriel and he helps the dragonborn so until he starts burning villages he's fine. Also I never got why we weren't given the same ultimatum over Odahving...
