time scales

I've just gotten Hearthfire, and it's quite interesting.

One thing I do find annoying is the time scale, or, more correctly, lack of time scale.

I mean, come on, how is it possible to build a house in a matter of minutes! This was done more realistically back in Morrowind times. It seems to me that it's total nonsense that you can get yourself set up with the right materials and build yourself a house and fittings in no real elapsed time. At least back in Morrowind it took a finite length of time to get things built.....

Armor is the same way. Or do you think an exquisitely smithed suit of dragonbone armor could be made in no time at all?
