Is there anyway to make it so the current layout of your windows and size of each column in each window will stay the same as the current settings?

My windows change location on launch sometimes, and also the columns in each window will resize to the default whenever I load a new cell. This is annoying since the default of each column often doesn't show the information I need.

It's a tolerable issue but if there is an easy fix it'd be nice to know it. I couldn't find anything in the preferences. Thank you for your help
