Game mechanics and skills

just a quick question as I cannot find any information on my own. I assume the game will be level based as most MMO's are. however, are we going to level with skill use as seen in all ES games, or is it going to be the same tedium of all MMOs where we kill mobs for xp and level that way, skills have no effect on exp gain.

They have already discussed how the use of certain weapons needs to be leveled through USE. As far as a skill tree and class mechanics i have found very little to support how they will progress our characters through the game. I fear them making this game similiar to Darkfall. Magic being used by players in heavy plate running around casting. So tanks doing top end damage. simply becuase they are profiecient in that type of weapon. I'm a big fan of class distinctions. Glass cannons doing tons of damange but dieing quickly, and vice versa. I hope the devs get the balancing right.
