Definitely going Nord... Joining Companions (Stark House sigil was the Wolf, Snow is 50% Stark blood)

Need help with;

1) 1H + shield

or

2) 2-hander

“Longclaw” is a bastard sword, and according to one wiki: "Bastard swords can be used with one or two hands: while they are larger than longswords they are short enough that they can still be wielded with one hand, though it is preferable to use two hands."

For those who have seen season 2, or read all the books (please no un-needed spoilers), does Snow ever use a shield???

Also need help with;

Light Armor or Heavy Armor... not much I can find in the wiki’s or the 1.2 books I have read in the series indicate if he ever dons heavy armor, so would you think he would be a light armor guy if transferred into the realm of Skyrim?

Also any one know a mod I could have a strong white wolf companion that I can re-name to “Ghost”?
