Isran vs Delphine

I see them as pretty much equals regarding their bossy, overbearing and stubborn attitudes, but who comes out as the worst?

I say Delphine because she isn't your boss, while if I'm right, Isran is so he has a right to be bossy.

Who is Isran? If he belongs to Dragonborn, this topic should be in the Dragonborn section.

I didn't have a problem with Isran. Isran didn't tell you to get lost forever unless you kill Serana.

They're both deluded, but Isran is probably more dangerous in his fanaticism. Without Dovahkiin's help, Isran will continue his crusade - but what can Delphine do? Go kill a dragon? Well good luck with that.

However, if you're simply asking who's mory bossy, Delphine all the way. Isran actually is the boss, so he has every right to be annoying.

He's the leader of the Dawnguard.

No,
You are not the only one. I wanted to stab her in the heart the moment we meet the first time.

It can be here, because although Isran is a part of Dawnguard, Delphine is a vanilla character, which makes the question universal to all of Skyrim.

Delphine, because Isran actually listens to you when he needs to.

Also Isran has every right to be pissed off and angry all the time. Unlike that [censored]...

This. Isran may be stubborn, brash and over-zealous, but he at least listens to sense when he hears it.

Plus he's a badass with a cool voice.

Isran at least has a valid excuse: He's a war hardened commander who has suffered first hand at the Vampire scourge. He knows what he's facing and he knows how to kill it - weakness won't due when you're hunting Vampires.

Delphine on the other hand has a sense of entitlement and commandeering bravado that is wholly unearned. She has never fought a dragon. She has never actually seen Paarthurnax. And what's more, she is supposed to be beholden unto the Dragonborn - Isran isn't.

agree.

Side-note: she was involved in 1 dragonfight.... and she was a great help (essential tank dummy)

Isran is leaps and bounds better than Delphine, because unlike her Isran actually evolves as a character,

Dawnguard Spoilers below

Spoiler
After you kill Harkon Isran actually remarks that it must be hard for Serana, and not in a mean way he generally seems to have some simpathy for her showing his character has moved past seeing her as a thing and at least partially sees her as a person. Delphine's only noticeable character trait is that she hates the thalmor, dragons and greybeards; it's boring and one dimensional.

What? No contest it's Delphine, not only does she talk rude and disrespectfully to you (especially depending on dialogue choice in her basemant) but she gives you ultimatums as well, even after discovering that you're dragonborn which to my knowledge she is supposed to swear to serve.

Isran is just disgruntled about all the vamps around and probably lost loved ones to vampires so it's understandable why he's bitter....Delphine is 1 of those women who Can't Understand Normal Thinking

Yeahhhh pretty much. She's like an overbearing wife in that regard.
"Dragonborn, I swear, if you don't go out there and do what I say, you are SO sleeping on the couch! I worked very hard to get us where we are, and I am NOT going back to Riverwood to bus tables and have my ass grabbed by every drunken skeever-lick fresh from the mill! I was a BLADE, dammit! I deserve a little respect around here for all that I do for you and that old man!"
etc etc...
