one of the worst things about skyrim...

Why in gods holy name have they gone to the effort to place chests underwater, a sword sticking out of a lake held by a skeleton, and obscure shipwrecks in remote places, only to put useless generic items in every single one of these places -_-

Don't try and tell me the senario below has not happened to any of you -

'oh wow, I've just found a chest miles under water in the depths of some obscure cave, it MUST have something cool in it. Oh, its a cabbage.'

It just boggles the mind that they went to the effort to put all these cool things in, in really remote hard to find places, only to fill these treasure caches with absolute garbage, every single time. Without fail. I can't help but think just don't bother putting something out of the way, if you're going to fill it with generic levelled loot.

Aye, but that was the fabled Moldy Cabbage of Captain Habnir Slim-Frame. It's worth nothing, of course, but oh the jaunty sea tales that have been told by sailors!

It's legend is only matched by the Mundane Steel Sword of Rohek the Completely Boring. Never saw battle it didn't.

The stories also tell of the 4E Fur Helmet of Rulfgir Side-Ways of the Second Era. Nobody is quite sure how he got his hands on it, but aye, be assured that it's craftsmanship is like that of the very same type that you can buy from the little orphan boys in Riften.

Such a wonderful world this be.
