I'm curious about the unmarked location decribed in the wiki:


I'll note I don't have that space core plugin installed, nor wish to. I'm more interested in the shack itself. Never have I seen it burning, and I may be referring to a different shack entirely so please correct me if I'm wrong. The one I'm wanting to know about is broken down old house with no roof, a bed, and a chest under the floor boards (with a small quantity of gold)... I typically find it on my way to Rorikstead from whiterun. I want to know if the chest inside (under the floorboards) is safe to use for storage.

My plan is to use one of the camping mods to set up a small player home inside the existing frame work of the building as it seems like an idea place to have some sort of camp site.

If that chest isn't safe, I would ask anyone with a more in depth knowledge of Skyrim to point me in the direction of a unmarked location, that has safe storage, and is open to the world (no load screens).. that I can potentially set up camp with my mod and survive.

No, you're thinking of the right shack. It's never on fire either so don't worry.

I've just checked the chest in question for you and it does respawn, so it's not safe to store items there.
