I recently started wearing fur armour early game for rp purposes (Skyrim is very cold) but cannot find helmets anywhere? I googled and it says they are only a few in specific locations, WTF! I could have sworn when I first played the game over a year ago there were everywhere. Is this from the new patch's and why? No other light helmet looks quite right, I'm on Xbox so no mods. It boggle's the mind!

It's level dependent I think, so grab them when you see them early in the game because after a short time you won't see them again. If you're starting over Skybound Watch is a where my latest character got hers.

White River Watch near Whiterun has at least two .

Thnx will try there, very strange they are so rare when so many bandits have all the other fur amour parts.

I just found one at Autumnwatch Tower in the Rift.

White River Watch has at least one Fur Hat, in the room where you overhear the bandits planning a mutiny.

Judging by the replies you've gotten in respect to your concern, the fur helmet isn't something to look for; it's something to watch for!
