How would you change ESO?

Hello and welcome to my thread "How would you change ESO?"

Now I always see people complain about certain aspects of a game saying "Oh I don't like this or I don't like that, or oh it doesn't fit the lore..etc..etc." Now what I want to know from the ESO community here on these forums is;

What do you not like about what you've either heard or have seen from about the development of the game or certain aspects of ESO, and how would YOU change it to fit your liking, or play style.

Personally, I can not think of something I would change about what we have seen so far. Now the reason for that is I currently like the way ZOS is handling the game and its overall aspects and mechanics, there are a lot of interesting ideas in the mechanics themselves and with the story. So I personally want to see how this all blends together before I start criticizing aspects of the game. I guess the only thing I would have to say about the game is for PvP I would like to have seen separate areas to PvP in that are just like the RvRvR idea they are currently making except I would want all of these separate areas to only contain players of certain level. This decreases the chance that you will find a player that has way better gear then you and because of that ultimately killing you no matter what you happen to do. So I what I mean by this is I would like to see a battleground PvP area just for lets say for this example level 10 up to level 15. That way you are always fighting enemy players that are geared to your level, and it keeps PvP for the lower levels more balanced.

Personally, I don't like the restriction to explore enemy factions territories, I would love explore whole Tamriel in one game :)

Personally, I think it's premature to make a post like this as beta isn't even started yet. The problems people have with what they may have heard could very well change by the time beta is done, or they may become content with how those 'issues' are implemented.

Okay, now please answer the second part of the question :tops: How would you change that to fit your liking or play style?

Seeing as how I have no knowledge of how to make an MMO and all that jazz, I'll just leave it up to the very capable dev team at ZOS.

I personally do not think so, because you can take content that you have heard about and that has been officially released and have had a similar experience with a similar content piece or mechanic from a different game and say you do not like that idea and still have an opinion about how you think it should be fixed or how it should have been handled. I am just personally interested in what the rest of the community thinks about certain information about the game and if they dislike it, why and how would they, themselves personally handle it or fix it.

I do not see anything premature in this question.

I personally think that someone who complains about a certain piece of content and doesn't give an explanation is a premature statement or even opinion because usually they do not provide an answer to how they would want it to be.

Neither do I, but I still have opinions about certain game mechanics or content that I have experienced playing other games that ZOS may or have implemented into the game. I am just wondering what others think of the current information given out from ZOS about the game, whether they approve or disapprove of it and if they disapprove, how would they change it from a players point of view.

Anyways, to address the no enemy faction exploration, I'd have it so you can't start any trouble in enemy lands. No ganking, no pvp of any sort. Maybe make it so that if you tried then elite guards would come and kill you, making you respawn in one of the points in your alliances lands.

Hmm... I think exploring enemy factions can be implemented, but it is going to be dangerous, you know... You can get killed by the enemy faction =P

I know, I'm just approving of everything they're doing since I can't possibly think of any plausible ways of implementing features. They are doing a wonderful job, in my opinion.

Alright, I personally do not mind having faction locks, however I would not mind having the ability to go into an enemies faction but only being able to slay enemies that are at least 5-10 levels above or below you, that way ganking is less of an issue.

As explained in the original post, I can agree with you on that statement. However I had just one small thing I wish they would do but I have no current grippes with anything they have currently released information about. :tops: Thanks for the post!

I think that if you travel into someone other faction's lands, then only a member of that faction can initiate a fight. Now that would severely cut down on ganking.
