B2P? Release date? Why is there no thread about this!?!

Is this fake? It says TESO will be 60 USD and will launch on Dec 31.

We've been arguing about the price for months, and this if posted and not a whimper? Is this fake? Is this forum asleep at the wheel? If this just info made up by Amazon till they get the actual date and price? My girlfriend showed me this, and she's not keeping up on TESO as nearly as much as I putting me, and perhaps all of us here to shame.

Sounds about right... ? Most new big title games are $60, and personally I'm expecting a launch closer to the end of the year. And where are you getting that it's B2P?

Everything is a placeholder, it's nothing.

It's coming out this year so they put release at the last day of the year to push it up.

Says nothing about buy to play, don't even know pricing structure. That's the maximum standard price for a console game and the standard edition won't go any higher but may go lower. That's why it has the best price guarantee where it will charge you at launch and for the cheaper price if it has a cheaper price, because they don't know.

And, there has already been threads about this. Gamestop and Walmart had it on their site since last year.

Ah, placeholder, that's it. For some reason I couldn't remember that word.

Even so, why would a subs game with no purchase price be in amazon in the first place? Looking at F2P MMOs on Amazon shows that they sell cash shop content. So, if they aren't B2P, then it could be cash shop type things. WILD MASS SPECULATION GOOO!.

@MistofMagic: When has Wal-Mart ever mattered to gaming, or anything but lost jobs?

Online warehouses are going to be the last to know about *anything*
They don't care about the game, just the money. When zenimax has pricing available they'll tell them. I don't think you can even speculate on it.

Expect crazyness to ensue if/when the game is posted on Steam for the first time... especially if it's before ZOS announces a release date.
