So I just got back into the Hearthfire gamplay. I was up in my Markarth house with the wife and kids, and I decided to buy them Vigilance, as a gift, and also for some added protection.

But no matter what I do, they're not asking to adopt him. I've fast travled back and forth, tried moving to another house and doing it, did while Vigilance was waiting or following, and repeatedly clicking on them.


I nearly shouted them to pieces. Any tips?
