Quick Ultimate Follower Overhaul Uninstall Question

I've read the proper procedure for uninstalling the UFO on it's page, but I'm curious as to if this is actually safe in the long term in regards to bloat or corruption. This is probably one of those dumb questions, but I'm not that savvy with what kinds of scripts get 'baked in' as opposed to which don't. Does UFO leave any scripts baked into the save, or is it pretty much cleanly removed if one follows procedure? Reason I'm wondering is I'm actually quite far on this character now, and restarting again isn't really appealing, but I'd rather do it now than later if necessary. I find I don't really use most of the functions of UFO (carrying more than one follower, etc) and most of the bugs and issues I initially got it to address have long been fixed by the Unofficial and Official patches. I keep a practice of paring out stuff I just don't ever really use, and this has become one of those things.

If it does bake in, I may just make extensive notes of what my stats/items/money are, console it all back in on a new character, tgm until I get back to where I was and resume. Wouldn't take that long, I'd just rather avoid it if the mod more or less cleanly removes from the save state.
