What controller can I use, and how do I set it up?

This probably seems pathetically ignorant of me, and perhaps it is, but I have read before that I can use a 360 controller to play Skyrim. How do I set that up? Can I use the controller for past TES games as well?

You should be able to just plug the XBox controller into your PC, and the drivers will automatically be installed. Then just go into the main menu in Skyrim and select the controller option.

I'm not sure if previous TES titles support the controller, though.
