Ser Robert suddenly stood up and declared that he knew who the wolves were. Unfortunately, he never had the chance to reveal his conclusions, for at that very moment a chunk of rock hurtled down from the heavens, lighting the sky on fire, and smote the whole manor into ruin.

Later, any observer might have noticed two wolves dragging the young maid away from the ruins by tugging on the burnt remains of her uniform. They were headed to the high moor. But there was no observer, and later, the three loped off silently into the night, and were never seen by anyone ever again. Anyone that lived to tell the tale, at least....
