The title of thane is pretty lame, everyone want to be a boss with more than just a wood hut and 1 npc. I was thinking we took some ideas from oblivion and buffed them up, like the shivering isles for example, having your own realm couldn't have been more pleasing, you had your own castle, settlements, armies and guards, it was too bad ass, I was thinking why not take that and move it into the world of skyrim and this time with even more features than before. Or be the first mortal in skyrim to become a daedric prince then the first daedric prince to not only have a plane in oblivion but his own hold in skyrim with preset choices on what kind of lord you want to be.

I'm sure by the end of the DLC cycle, our ego's will be thuroughly stroked.
