I was wondering which one to use for my house when Hearthfire finally releases for PS3. So far I'm in favor of Heljarchen Hall because of the mill, but I'm not sure yet.

Heljarchen has an impressive view of Throat of the World and Winstad has an impressive view of Solitude.

Safety wise Heljarchen has far less attacks from Bandits and Werewolves than Winstad..But has a few giant attacs every now and then,But they only end up killing the chickens so it' snot a real problem and it is a personal preference as I like being close to Whiterun.

Lakeview and Heljarchen are my favorites. Lakeview is in Falkreath, which is a nice, quiet area. Nice and woodsy. Heljarchen is up north which is great, all snowy and stuff.
