Simple is horrible!

Has anyone else noticed the trend to make games more and more simple?

This new trend is horrible! It utterly destroys a major deal form the game experience. Good examples are WoW, Diablo, Civilisation, Planetside, Fallout Guid Wars.
The overlap from "you need a IQ of a average person to play this game" to "even a wet brick in headwind can play this" is destroying a fine line of gaming.

No wonder the internet is full of idiots and games overwhelmed with potato sacks. At least for me this has been damn frustrating and also shortening my
interest in a game, at some point you'll notice that it's just the same damn clicking cycle and pattern all over.

If we look back at old games, where people needed to find out, research, T&E, and THINK. Thous where games that people could entertain themselves with
for years. Ulitma Online is a name I hope most of the people here in the community recognizes, Lineage is an other one, Vanilla WoW? Thous where games
that needed dedication! And this is what I want from ESO, please PLEASE don't make it simple and easy!

I got disappointed in the overlap from Morrowind to Oblivion already.

Community?
Is there any one that shares this fell with me?

Ummm, Civ V simple? No, completely changed yes, but not simple.

And what Fallout simplified? NV Vs 3? Again, I say no.. 3/NV Vs classic? Different eras.

That said I don't think you're wrong, I too miss the oldschool days of hard games... just pointing out that some of your examples aren't really that accurate.
