Way back when I first got Skyrim (January 2012) I killed a Blood Dragon after about a week of playing it (real life time). I didn't deliver the finishing blow, it was a Forsworn with a bow, and the blood dragon never burned away. So I just looted it's body, taking everything but an Elven Shield. For about a month, the body of that dragon would follow me around whenever I fast travelled. If I travelled to a walled in city like Markarth, it'd land outside when I left the city. Eventually the blood dragon stopped following me. So I installed the Dragonborn DLC, played without a problem, then I got Hearthfire. After fast traveling to Whiterun, the body of that very same blood dragon landed right in the city at the market stands. I knew it was that one cause it still had the Elven shield. What exactly caused this dead dragon to start following me again after it stopped following me over 11 months ago? It's not game breaking or anything, just kinda annoying.
