Priority for effect shaders?

I'm trying to change the effect shader applied from armor spells. I added a new texture to the shader, and set the option "Apply to skin only". Everything works fine with a new texture applied over the character skin.

The problem is that any other membrane shader effect that appear in game overwrites my new effect. For example, if I use a potion of resit fire, the red outline overwrites the skin effect, which comes back only when the fire resist effect is gone.

So, anyone know how priority works on effect shaders? Is there a to set my new membrane effect as higher priority?
